Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training BSZ40198 transition to
TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
I have heard the BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training course has been replaced by the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Can I still do this course?
Yes you can.
This is because there is a transitional period of 12 months which started on the
23 November 2004. This transitional period enables you to enrol in the
BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training up until the 23rd
November 2005. You then have until the 23rd of November 2006 to complete
the program.
After the 23rd of November 2005, we will stop accepting enrolments for the BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and will only be accepting enrolments for the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
If you are wanting to work for a Registered Training Organisation (and also TAFE or Universities), your BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training certificate must be dated before the 23rd of November 2005. In order to ensure that your certificate is dated before the 23rd of November 2005 please ensure that you have submitted all your assignments to us before the end of October 2005.
PLEASE NOTE: If you intend teaching the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment then you must hold the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification. In that case, you can enroll here.
We have published a comprehensive information page about the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a special workplace trainer's guide to the TAA Galaxy-- DON'T PANIC.
