Australian candidates will receive the Certificate II and III in Security (Guarding)
These are nationally recognised training courses. In the State of NSW the Certificate II in Security (Guarding) is the qualification required for the Class 1B Licence ( Bodyguard ).
The curriculum includes all the standard competencies expected in a training course of this nature and additional competencies such as: security dogs handling, use of long and expandable batons, limousine motorcade defensive driver course, revolver and semi automatic pistol
The training course duration is 240 hours (six weeks). The cost is AU$6,900. The fee includes all study material, including the provision of firearms training and ammunition.
Overseas students can be accommodated locally at reasonable prices, between AU$50 and 60 per day. This price includes meals.
The Academy is situated in a remote location, however the nearby cities of Oberon (NSW) and Bathurst (NSW) offer some entertainment and shopping facilities. In all cases you will be occupied with your training studies during this period and will have little time for recreation.
Safecity has imposed a ban against alcohol and drugs at the Academy. Persons found using either during the training course will be expelled. We also insist on full compliance with the firearms safety and behaviour standards.
We make no claims you will be able to obtain employment as a direct result of your completion of our bodyguard training course.
However, Safecity's bodyguard graduates will be offered the opportunity to register for employment with a security industry employment agency. This service will be offered free of charge.
Graduates of this program will also be referred to "Project Casual Guards".
Additionally, we will provide a free personalised listing on our site.

When enrolling in a course please
make sure to ask the following questions.
We have been made aware of several unscrupulous
organisations which offer CPP courses. Regrettably graduates
from these training courses stand little chance of obtaining
employment. Additionally, the bodyguard certificates issued
hold little recognition. Costs of these courses vary from
$1000 up to $2,500 and students have little chance of recovering
their outlay. Always check with your local licensing authority
to verify the course is approved or recognised.
Some bodyguard training providers promise employment upon graduation. Unfortunately, the employment turns out to be one single assignment. Regrettably, students are unable to prosecute because the training provider has fulfilled his legal obligation.
Good luck and Be Safe
