Safecity Training Academy is proud to announce "Project Caring Hands" a project designed to promote training in Senior First Aid (WorkCover approval number FA9992) and at the same time help raise funds for charitable organisations, churches community projects, animal and environmental protection groups and any other worthwhile activity.
There are two levels to Project Caring Hands:
Level 1: Safecity Training Academy will donate 10% of the net income generated from Senior First Aid classes organized by the charitable organisation or group.
Level 2: Safecity Training Academy will train members of the charitable organisation to Instructor Level at a nominal fee. Once qualified, the instructors will be able to conduct Senior First Aid classes. Funds generated from the courses will go to the charitable organisation or group. A small fee which includes registration and training materials will apply. Candidates for Level 2 must hold the Workplace Trainer Category 1, hold a WorkCover approved SFA Course and have considerable experience in SFA.
Do we have to sign a contract with Safecity? Level 1 applicants do not sign a contract. Either party can end the membership at any time by giving notice in writing.
Level 2 applicants sign an agreement that they will conduct the courses in accordance with Safecity's standards. Members must also conduct a minimum of one class per year and attend an update to retain their trainer status.
Level 2 applicants who wish to relinquish their instructor status can do so at any time.
Explain how the financial transactions are completed. Level 1 participants: A donation is paid on the spot upon the completion of the course. The donation will consist of 10% of the net income generated by the class.
Level 2 participants: The instructors can conduct as many classes they wish. The students pay the instructors and all money goes to the charitable organisation. Safecity will charge a registration fee for each student. The fee includes the training materials and manuals.
