Dear Alex,
Following the success of the workshops conducted by your team at our ###### branch, I thought I would take the time to acknowledge the quality of the Safety Awareness Workshop.
Firstly, it was pleasing to see the confidence, and level of awareness being steadily built up during the day. I observed that the training staff were constantly attuned to the emotions of the participants and took great care to ensure each participant was properly prepared, and had consented to being actively involved before conducting an exercise. This aspect of the training process together with the overall structure and delivery of the workshop, demonstrated to me the design of the workshop had been thoroughly researched, was founded on recognised adult learning principles, and was being conducted by human resource development professionals.
Moreover, the balance between theory and interactive exercises maintained the interest of the participants. The consensus among the staff was that the workshop was informative, practical and relevant.
While it is too early to measure the change in staff behaviour, I am convinced that by revising their workshop manuals and regularly utilising the post workshop computer software program to monitor their retention of the workshop's content, ###### has made a sound investment in assuring the safety of it's most valued resource - it's people.
In closing, I would also like to express my gratefulness to you for the ongoing support and advice in assisting me to develop the credit union's safety strategy.
