
Q. What is the entry level for the Senior First Aid Instructor course?
1. You must demonstrate you have already achieved considerable practical and theoretical competency in approved Senior First Aid. With a least 1 year practical experience AND
2. Hold a WorkCover approved Senior First Aid Certificate. AND
3. Hold the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
4. Be a person of good character and able to provide references/referees.
5. Be at least 20 years old

Q. Who conducts the course?
Our Instructor Courses are conducted by qualified lecturers in senior first aid and emergency response management under the supervision of our Alexander Wilon JP Ph.D. (TAFE Facilitator and Senior First Aid Instructor for other international agencies).

The course is conducted in Fyshwick (Canberra) ACT.

Q. What will I be able to do when I complete this course?
As a qualified and registered senior first aid instructor you will be qualified to conduct the Workplace Senior First Aid Course (WorkCover Approval Number FA9992) in the states of New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia, the Australian Capital Territory and Northern Territory. Applications are being lodged with Queensland and Tasmania.
Q. What training material will I use?
When you book and pay for your course you will receive all the administrative and training requirements you need to study and complete your course.
Q. How much will the course cost?
Safecity's Senior First Aid Instructor Course costs $400. The cost includes your training manuals, tuition, assessment and an attractive wall certificate.
Q. What happens if I am accepted in a course?
We will deliver the instructor manual by courier or registered post. This will give you time to complete the self assessment questionnaires.
Q. What happens if I don't complete the course or am unable to pass the assessment?
If you are genuinely experiencing difficulties, Safecity will allow you to enroll in the following course free of charge.
Q. How long does the accreditation last?
As in all other Senior First Aid Instructor Courses the accreditation lasts one year. To re-qualify you attend a CPR/EAR refresher (4 hours).
You must also teach a minimum of two Safecity's Workplace Senior First Aid Courses per year.
Hold a current WorkCover approved Senior First Aid qualification.
